Welcome to the landing page for the SLO County ARES Distrct, South County Area. 
We are in the ARRL Santa Barbara Section in the Southwestern Division.
South County San Luis Obispo is the area from Avila Beach southward,
and may include stations operating in North Santa Barbara County.

You can find training materials and the most in-depth information on the SLO North County ARES website and on the SLOECC website.  Both are maintained by our District Emergency Coordinator, NS7C.  This site is maintained by NY6E, Area Emergency Coordinator for South County ARES.  This site exists mostly for the convenience of South County ARES members.  The South County net script, roster and some useful links are listed in the sidebar menu.

Your login name is the email address that you registered on your 2026 ARES FSD98 form.  Use your Google password associated with that account.  If you are a member of another ARES group within our District, you can request access by contacting NY6E@ares.joeb.com

If you have not submitted a 2026 FSD98 form, you might not have access to some of the South County ARES documents, but will have access to public documents and training materials on this and other linked sites.  If your contact information has changed, please submit an updated FSD98 form before requesting access.  The FSD98 form can be found on the SLOECC site as a .PDF and as an on-line form.
