Announcements for the Weekly Net

1. SLO County ARES members and regular stations are encouraged to participate in the Tsunami Exercise on Wednesday, March 25.  The exercise is open to all interested.  More information is available on the South County ARES website at ares.joeb.com/tsunami, as well as in the email message sent earlier today by our District Emergency Coordinator, NS7C.

2. The South County Net needs a Net Control Station on April 14 and later dates.  All ARES members and regular stations may perform NCS duty.  Stations who have already performed NCS duty 2 or more times this year are encouraged to let the other stations use the opportunity.  1:1 training is available if needed.  Please register or conact NY6E for information and assistance.

3. The Wildlflower Ride sponsored by the SLO Bicycle Club has a few openings for volunteers, including licensed ham radio operators.  Please see the South County ARES site or the email message forwarded on March 18 by our District Emergency Coordinator, NS7C.
